The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia has officially issued the Decree of the Minister of Health Number HK.01.07/MENKES/1168/2025 concerning the National Clinical Practice Guidelines (PNPK) for the Management of Pneumonia in Adults. This policy serves as a standardized reference for healthcare facilities and medical professionals across Indonesia to provide appropriate, effective, and uniform medical treatment for adult pneumonia patients.
The implementation of these guidelines aims to improve the quality of healthcare services, ensure patient safety, and reduce morbidity and mortality rates caused by pneumonia in Indonesia. Through this regulation, the government expects to achieve consistency in medical procedures—ranging from diagnosis to rehabilitation—to ensure optimal clinical outcomes for the public.
