Guidelines on Media, Communication, Information, and Education (CIE) for Air Quality Improvement and Public Health Impacts

These guidelines serve as a reference for strengthening education on the importance of healthy air quality, raising public awareness and fostering behavioral change, and supporting efforts to minimize health impacts caused by air pollution.

The guidelines contain information regarding air pollution and its impact on public health, strategies for behavioral change, and various CIE media options that can be utilized effectively and in a targeted manner.

It is expected that these guidelines will be used by health workers, policymakers and local governments, educators and schools, the general public, managers of public facilities and workplaces, and the mass media to support efforts to improve air quality.
