National Clinical Practice Guidelines for Syphilis Management Officially Issued

The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia has enacted Minister’s Decree Number HK.01.07/MENKES/291/2026 concerning the National Clinical Practice Guidelines (NCPG) for Syphilis Management. These guidelines serve as a standardized reference for healthcare professionals and facilities across Indonesia in diagnosing, treating, and monitoring syphilis patients.

The implementation of these guidelines aims to ensure quality of care, enhance patient safety, and guarantee that the management of sexually transmitted infections is conducted accurately and integrated nationwide. All healthcare facilities are expected to adopt these standards promptly to support the government's efforts in clinical excellence and health service equity.
